Our crazy trip
Hello dear readers, we are back after the two months and here's a new post from our students.
First day we took the train to Prague early
in the morning, so we arrived around noon. We had some delicious meal and
headed right to the city centre.
Our journey started at Václavské námestie,
leading us to Karlov most and Hradčany. At Malá strana, I had a lot
of fun singing with a random dude with guitar. He even sang a song
for me! At night we enjoyed all the city lights and music and visited some
bars…it was so much fun.
Waking up the next day was a little tough,
but there were already two tickets to Plzeň booked, which meant we had to take
Regiojet bus and get to our next station. No regrets, Plzeň was wonderful. The
architecture and historic buildings, synagogue, giant church contrasting with modern fountains…there
was definitely a lot to see. It was unfortunately really cold and windy so
we decided to find a place to stay for a while and have a cup of
tea. We discovered such a magical tea house, had some rest and were ready
to see the rest of the town. Except the breathtaking monuments there is
definitely one interesting place to visit – The museum of beer! Beer is
something that made Plzeň really famous and its’ beer is served all over the
world.
Our final destination was one of the most beautiful Czech towns – Český Krumlov. It is known for its’ historical city centre and is even designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The marvelous castle is dominating the city with its’ towers. You cand also see lots of original buildings with typical architecture.
We stayed in a guest house for
a night and the next morning we ‘enjoyed’ three hours in the bus on our
way back to Prague. There was a little time left before the train
departure so we used it to see a little more of this wonderful city and
chill at the park. Even though we were really tired and cold most of the
time, because the weather wasn’t really
on our side, I must say it was amazing experience and gave us so much. If
you have an opportunity to travel – do so! Just be careful. <3
Have a nice day.
